*June 2009 - The First Puppy

The California K9 Kitchen gourmet dog treats, custom dog bowl and bake-at home cookie kits arrived at the Whitehouse on the morning of June 5, 2009 to an eagerly awaiting Bo Obama.

This opportunity was made possible by a joint venture between California K9 Kitchen and WOW Creations,
an exclusive Hollywood celebrity gifting company.



The gift is intended to provide the Obama Family with all natural gourmet treats that can be used to help with Bo’s puppy training.

When they run out of the Peanut Butter, Molasses and Chicken/Parmesan treats, the Whitehouse chef can bake Bo more using the cookie kits.
 

When asked about the gift, President Joseph Lascola of California K9 Kitchen said, “There was so much excitement about Bo’s arrival we wanted to be sure that Bo has the very best treats possible to motivate him during his training.  We believe that our all natural and preservative free treats will produce excellent training results for the first puppy.  I would hate to hear the President ever have to say "Bo ate my speech".

*June 2009 - TBS  “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival

Over 100 bags of California K9 Kitchen gourmet dog treats were included in the celebrity gift bags at the 2009 TBS Comedy Festival held in Chicago June 17th through the 21st. This opportunity was made possible when California K9 Kitchen was approached by Mark Harris, the celebrity gifting organizer of WOW Creations, Hollywood, Ca.  All comedians participating in the event were provided with gift bags that were filled with new and unique products for their enjoyment.

When asked about the donation, Company President Joseph Lascola of California K9 Kitchen, Huntington Beach, Ca. said, “I love to laugh and we all need to lighten-up in these difficult economic times. I hope our treats will be taken seriously by the celebrity’s dogs though.”

The “Just for Laughs” TBS Comedy Festival, Chicago, included performances by well know comedians and performers such as: Ellen DeGeneres, Andy Dick, Damon Wayans Jr., David Alan Grier, George Lopez, Lisa Lampanelli, Martin Short and many more.
