Special Order and Custom Products

Visit one of our Southern California retailers to pick-up or special order any of our products! We deliver our baked products to our retailers fresh weekly! If your local retailer doesn’t have the item you want in stock, make a special request with them; we can usually have your special order delivered by our next service date for that location.

About our fresh baked dog treats and snacks:

California K9 Kitchen gourmet cookies, cakes and muffins are dog treats and meant as treats. These snacks and treats should not be given to your pet as a primary source of nutrition. Even though the ingredients we use are of the very best human quality and are all natural/organic; animal digestive systems are very delicate and are often sensitive to change in diet and introduction of new foods. Some pets may have allergic reactions to certain food groups and it is the pet owner's responsibility to know be aware of their pet’s tolerance or intolerance to any certain food products.

Many of these snacks/treats contain peanuts; pecans and peanut butter. People and animals that have an allergy to nuts should not ingest or handle any of the products prepared by California K9 Kitchen as all products are processed and packaged in the same facility.

Handling and storage of our fresh baked dog treats and snacks:

All California k9 Kitchen packaged products display a “Best By” date. The shelf life of these packaged treats can be extended by freezing.

Our soft baked products such as special order birthday cakes, muffins, and carob brownies should be used or frozen by the “Best by” date. It is recommended that these products are stored in a refrigerator or freezer. Your retailer will supply you with handling information at time of purchase information.

The hard baked and decorated treats at your store’s bakery case are delivered to participating store locations weekly. Each store is responsible for following our product handling and use by date guidelines. You can be guaranteed that the treats in the case meet our freshness guidelines.

Retail Sales & Shipping Policies:

Payment options:
We accept all major credit cards and e-checks online via PayPal as well as personal checks by mail. Orders will not be processed until after payment is received in full. Please contact us if you wish to order and pay with personal check.

Minimum Orders:
Certain products will require a minimum quantity to be ordered. These minimum orders must be met per product type in order for us to process your order. Mix and matching of flavors is welcome; just make a note for us. Some of our clients place orders with a friend and split the cost! California K9 Kitchen may consider waiving minimum requirements on a particular item for total orders that exceed $75.00 before sales tax and shipping is calculated. Contact us to discuss this possibility.

Standard Shipping:
All California K9 Kitchen orders are shipped through the USPS. We calculate all packages based upon the USPS “Flat Rate Package” with delivery confirmation added. All orders will have one delivery charge of $10.45 added to the final sale price at time of purchase. We will confirm that your order will fit into the “Flat Rate Package” prior to processing your order. If additional shipping charges are necessary; we will notify you and provide you the option to amend or cancel your order. The USPS "Flat Rate Package” and the charges that are applied to your order are based upon domestic (within the USA) shipping only. Sorry, we do not offer international shipping.

Sales Tax:
State of California sales tax of 7.75% will be added to all orders at check out. (we do not mark-up or add tax to the shipping)

Special Orders/Shipping:
The products we have identified for internet/retail sales are intended to be shipped using our standard shipping. Should you require special shipping services, such as “Over Night”/freezer shipping or another special shipping requirement; please contact us prior to placing your order so we confirm we can accommodate your needs.

Return Policy:
California K9 Kitchen considers all sales final. With that said; we are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. If for some reason you should not be satisfied with your order; please contact us and we will do our best to remedy the situation.
